The contract takes effect immediately. On Sunday 8 November, when PSV Women play against the women’s team of ADO Den Haag on PSV Campus De Herdgang, in3 will be featured prominently on the back of the match shirts for the first time. “The women’s branch of PSV and women’s football in general is growing rapidly. We want to be part of it,” says Hans Langenhuizen, CEO of in3. “We are a real Eindhoven company and proud that we can commit ourselves as a partner and shirt sponsor to the club of our city. We look forward to celebrating successes together in the coming years.”
Contract proves that women’s football is alive
“PSV Women are making huge strides. Both on and off the field. The team competes for prizes and will compete in the UEFA Women’s Champions League for the first time. Striker Joëlle Smits will make a paid transfer to VfL Wolfsburg after this season, for the first transfer fee in our history. These are milestones that attract attention,” says Frans Janssen, Commercial Director of PSV. “Large media parties such as FOX Sports and NOS broadcast the matches, which makes women’s football increasingly attractive. The sponsorship contract with in3 is the largest partnership for our women’s team to date and will definitely contribute to the further professionalization and recognition of women’s football. It is great to see that companies see the value of this and that a company from the Eindhoven region – PSV’s home base – feels involved.”
